Getting Started

Artesia Credit Union now has Bill Pay and Internet Banking which allow you to perform various financial transactions, pay your bills, and communicate with the credit union staff quickly and easily in the comfort of your own home.  These services secure access at any hour of the day, seven days a week.
Begin by entering your User ID (account number) and security Code you were issued by the ACU  representative.  After your initial sign in, you will be required to change your security code.  The new security code must be eight (8) digits in length.
If you have questions or problems, please contact the Credit Union.

Internet Banking

This feature will allow you to view your accounts and to make transactions within that account.  It displays the account balances and account history that print out on your periodic statements.  Click on each account to view the detailed transaction history.  This information is real time, the same information you would receive by the audio response teller or by the Credit Union staff.

With this option, you can not transfer between different member numbers.  You can only transfer from accounts within your own member number.
Internet banking will also allow you to complete membership applications and request a loan.  Simply fill out the requested information, push the send button, and a Credit Union employee will contact as soon as possible.

Bill Payment

NOTE:  In order to access the Bill Payment options, you must have an open share draft (checking) account and qualified to receive your access PIN from the CU.  If you do not currently have a checking account, please contact Artesia Credit Union to open one today!  If you are not sure if you qualify for these services, please call your CU for information.

Bill payment services allow you to schedule payments to merchants, review and change schedule payments, and reviews the payment history.  Bill payment services offer an alternative to the traditional way of paying your bills.  Instead of writing a check and

Things you should know about your Payments:

When using ACU  Bill Payment Services, you should know that there are two methods to pay your bills:

    • Internet payments to merchants on the electronic network: when this method is used you need to set up your payment at least two business days before the due date.
    • Check payments to merchants who do not receive electronic payments: when this method is used, you need to set up your payment at least five business days before the due date.

It is best to schedule all payments at least five business days before the due date in case of any errors or in the case that we would have to send a check.

Payments that are set up for future dates are called scheduled payments; these payments include one-time payments and automatic payments.  The first date may be no more than 18 months in the future.  Payments are processed on the scheduled date.  Payments scheduled for non-business dates (such as January 1 or weekends) are processed on the next business day for one-time payments and on the previous business day for automatic payments.

The ACU  Bill Payment Service will use its best efforts to make all your payments properly. However, the ACU  Bill Payment Service shall incur no liability if it is unable to complete any payments initiated by you through the ACU  Bill Payment Services because of the existence of any one or more of the following circumstances:

·         Your account does not contain sufficient funds to compete the payment or transfer.

·         The Processing center is not working properly and you know or have been advised by the ACU  Bill Payment Service about the malfunction before you execute the transaction.

·         The payee mishandles or delays a payment sent by the ACU  Bill Payment Service.

·         You have not provided the ACU  Bill Payment Service with the correct name or account information for those persons or entries to whom you wish to direct the payment.

·         Circumstances beyond the ACU  Bill Payment Service control (such as, but not limited to, fire, flood interference from an outside force) prevent the proper execution of the transaction and the ACU  Bill Payment Service has taken reasonable precautions to avoid those circumstances.

Provided none of the following exceptions to the ACU  Bill Payment Service performance obligations are applicable, if the ACU  Bill Payment Service causes an incorrect amount of funds to be removed from your transaction account or causes funds from your transaction account to be directed to a person or entity which does not comply with your payment instructions, the ACU  Bill Payment Service shall be responsible for returning the improperly transferred funds to your transaction account and for directing to the proper recipient any previously misdirected payments or transfers.  The ACU  Bill Payment Service should not be used to pay government obligations such as taxes and court-directed payment since you may incur significant penalties as a result of late payments.
