Funeral Service Credit Union’s online service.
The following disclosure
and agreement is to explain the contract that protects the member’s and Credit
Union’s rights and responsibilities concerning these electronic services. Please carefully read and make sure you
understand this disclosure and agreement.
The word "Member" means anyone who signs up for FSCU-ONLINE as applicants,
joint owners, or any authorized users.
The word "Account" refers to any one or more share and share draft
(checking) accounts a member has with the Credit Union. "EFT" or "Electronic Funds Transfers" are
electronically initiated transfers of money from your account through the
electronic transfer services described in these terms and conditions throughout
this disclosure. By using any EFT
service, each member, jointly and severally, agrees to the terms and conditions
and any amendments of the EFT services offered
FSCU-ONLINE allows you to
access and manage your Credit Union accounts online. You will have world-wide access to your accounts 24 hours a day / 7 days
a week, to check balances, review transactions and transfer funds.You can also communicate with the Credit Union through a secure e-mail
location. All of this from the comfort
of your home or wherever your life takes you.
This service will be available 24/7, except when off line due to maintenance, upgrades or other
unforeseen events, such as, but not limited to earthquakes, fires, floods,
computer failures, interruption in telephone service, electrical outage, which
may cause system unavailability. If
this service is not functioning, try accessing your account through our audio
response system.
Security and Protecting Your Account
Funeral Service Credit
Union is strongly committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of
your account information. We use
state of the art technology in the ongoing development of FSCU-ONLINE to
ensure security. In order to access
FSCU-ONLINE you must have a browser that supports 128-BIT encryption.
Security Code Issuance
Upon registration, a User
ID and Security Code will be issued. It
is the responsibility of the member to change the security code immediately.
Your Responsibility

Not to give out your
identifying information such as your PC password to any other person.
·
Never to leave your
account information displayed in an area accessible by others.
·
Never leave your PC
unattended while using FSCU-ONLINE.
·
Always exit and sign
off the system properly.
·
Notify the Funeral
Service Credit Union at 866-701-3728 immediately if you suspect that your
User ID or Security Code has become known to any unauthorized person.

That you understand that
by using FSCU-ONLINE you have agreed to the terms and conditions of this
agreement
·
Use of FSCU-ONLINE
is allowed only as provided in this agreement.
·
Properly maintain your
accounts with Funeral Service Credit Union, and comply with the most
recent membership account agreement information brochure governing these
accounts.
Member Liability
If you fail to maintain the
security of your User ID and Security Code and if the Credit Union suffers a loss,
we reserve the right to terminate service to you under this agreement, as well
as terminate other deposit and loan services.
Funeral Service Credit Union will not be responsible for any losses you
suffer due to your failure to maintain the security of your User ID and Security Code. Users of the service
should use such other Security Code protection precautions as may be
appropriate under any particular set of circumstances to ensure proper security
over system access and access to account and transaction information.
This service provides the
capability for you to change your Security Code. To help safeguard your security, you should change your Security
Code frequently. If you forget your
Security Code or your system access is disabled do to the use of an incorrect
Security Code, you must contact the Funeral Service Credit Union to request
that a temporary Security Code be issued to you. We reserve the right to require written re-application for a new
or replacement Security Code.
The member is liable to the
Credit Union for any loss; cost or expense incurred resulting from the member’s
failure to follow this agreement. The
member authorizes the Credit Union to deduct any such loss, costs or expenses
from their account without prior notice.
If we bring legal action to collect any amount due or to enforce this
agreement, the Credit Union is entitled, subject to applicable law, to payment
of reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, including fees on any appeal,
bankruptcy proceedings and any post-judgement collection action.
Fees and Charges
There is no fee for this
service. There is no fee for
termination thereof. However, Funeral
Service Credit Union reserves the right to impose fees or to subsequently
change any fee structure with or without notice as required by law.
Disclosure of Account Information to Third Parties
We will only disclose
information to third parties about your account:

In order to comply with
Government Agencies or Court Orders;
Or
·
In order to verify the
existence and condition of your account for a third party, such as a Credit
Bureau or Merchant;
Or
·
If you give us your
written permission.
Questions/Errors
If the member believes
there has been an error or unauthorized transfer of funds to or from any of
their accounts the following procedures should be followed:

If you think there is an
error on your statement you will have 60 days after you receive the first
statement on which the problem or error appeared to contact us.
1. Provide your name and account number
2. Describe the error or the transfer you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe there is an error or why you need more information.
3. Provide us with the dollar amount and any identifying
numbers.
4. Use the Message Center within FSCU-ONLINE to contact the
Credit Union Staff.
The Funeral Service Credit
Union Bylaws, federal laws and regulations, the laws and regulations of the
State of Illinois and local clearinghouse rules, govern this agreement.
Periodic Statements
Transfers and withdrawals
made through FSCU-ONLINE will be recorded on your periodic statement. You will receive a monthly statement for all
accounts having an electronic transaction.
